A lot of progress and A little head scratching...
I need a little advise. My bunny hop stole is approaching 56" L and 8" W unblocked. I have never blocked lace before. How much will it grow? I still have plenty of yarn left, about 1/2 the ball. But I don't think I want a 9ft stole. So do I had another 12-14 inches then add a small border? Tell me what you think.

Lace when blocked with grow faster than a gravy stain on the MIL heirloom table cloth. if it's all natural fibres you can semi-block with it still on the needles (ala Yarn Harlot) by smoothing it out, give a small puff of steam, smooth out, puff, etc until you have a working idea of size. When you block for real you can't tell the difference.
BTW It's lovely and you should be very proud. : )
I can't give any advice as I haven't done any proper lace before...but what is the pattern you used? The stole looks lovely!
