Postcard from an Axe Murderess
Lovely Selma -- who is most definitely not an axe murderess -- finished these lovely socks
in the colorway called "Axe Murderess." [Don't ask; it's one of those personal jokes.]
They are the Potamus (sp?) socks from Knitty.com done on size 1 needles, in BBF fingering-weight superwash.

Gorgeous socks!!!
Thank you, dear Carol, for cropping out my legs, which, from the angle of the photo, came out looking like twin hams. Extremely dry hams.
Oh, and it's "Pomotamus." Or, as I called them cos I could never remember the right name, Possum Bottomus.
Well, dahlink, I think your dry scaly legs are marvelous but man, you must have a powerful camera. That photo had about a zillion pixels, so I cropped AND resized or poor Blogger would have cried for mercy.
Brava! They are lovely!
But how come you didn't think to knit a cover for the axe?
Shhh -- Marilyn, those are her LEGS.
Those are beautiful!
